Thank you for visiting Pure Purrfections Natural Soap. Handmade soap made using a cold process to make soap the old fashioned way. No artificial preservatives or colorants. Using the finest essential oils and herbs, we bring pure perfection in skin care. From sensitive to dry or oily, our soaps will work for you.
At Pure Purrfections we believe in our products and strive to make them available and affordable to everyone. Creating an environmentally friendly natural product motivates our company to maintain green practices and policies.
I recognized the need for quality skin care after working in the hospital for several years. I am an LPN and have been for neatly 10 years. I also worked as a Medical Assitant for 6 years prior to that. As a nurse and victim of sensitive skin, I knew there had to be other options for natural, skin friendly products. After years of trying to find an body product that worked well with my skin, I began making my own soap. In 2006, Miss Ruby's soap was created. After an logo and name change in 2009 Pure Purrfections was established.
Our newest soap line, Nearly Natural Soaps, came out of a pure pleasure for beautiful and fragrant soaps. Please see our page on Nearly Natural Soaps for more information.
A few notes about us and our soaps:
- We recycle packaging materials
- Packaging and labeling are minimal because we believe that investment should be made in your soap, not a label to be thrown away
- Our soaps are made in small batches to maintain freshness and prevent waste
- Supplies kept on hand are limited and monitored for freshness
- Soaps that are nearing expiration are donated to local missions/families who need them
- We make as much information as possible available through the internet to prevent excessive use and escalating cost of paper
- Handmade, hand shaped and labeled products provide a quality, low impact enviromental product
- Handmade soaps may not lather as much as store bought soaps but they are still working.
- For best lather, use a washcloth or sponge
- Natural soap bars will soften quickly if left in a wet area. Store in a well drained area.
- Allergic reactions can still occur if you have a sensitive to foods or natural products like coconuts or nuts.
